| Interact Club helps Haiti |
Students involved in Interact Club at Nantucket High School are organizing an event to raise money to purchase shelter boxes for immediate relief in Haiti. Shelter boxes provide an all weather durable tent for ten people, water purification system, sleeping bags, cooking aids and utensils, practical tool kit, and children’s pack. |

| New Interact Club |
Students at Nantucket High School recently formed an Interact Club sponsored by the Rotary Club of Nantucket. Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people between the ages of 14 and 18. Interact Clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary Clubs - who provide support and guidance - however the Interact Clubs are self-governing and self-supporting. |

| Haiti Earthquake Relief |
In January 2010 a terrible earthquake hit the island of Haiti. To assist the suffering islanders, our Rotary Club collected funds for two Shelterboxes and for assistance for the owner of a search/sniffer dog who went to Haiti entirely on his own and with his dog helped find people buried in the rubble. |
